Directions
Leave M6 jct 38. Following Brough Road (A685) for 6 miles to Newbiggin -on-Lune. Take the Great Asby Road on the left, go for 100 yards then take the first right through tall gate posts into Brownder. (Do not follow the roadover the cattle grid.) Follow tarmac road to three road ends. Go straight forward onto farm lane past Tower House which will be on your left and Brownber Farm on your right, and follow signs to Bents Farm up the farm track, through gated fields. Please do not use satnav as it directs you down the wrong lane and onto a foot path.
